Once, I tried writing a whole bunch of sentences that I didn't think anyone had said before. Then I realized that I was only writing things that had never been written. Only the wind knows what's been uttered, and that scamp's too unreliable to listen to.

I know.

I've tried it.

'…everything is impermanent…'

It’s amazing how much this statement calms me and fills me with wonder at the same time.

A Pleasurable Encounter on Omegle (Finally!)

  • You're now chatting with a random stranger. Say hi!
  • You and the stranger both like Love, Eminem, and Michael Jackson.
  • Stranger: Yes!
  • You: Yes to...
  • You: the likes?
  • Stranger: indeed
  • Stranger: good combination
  • Stranger: :D
  • You: Indeed. My playlist reads like the confessional of a scizo, however.
  • Stranger: :D
  • Stranger: Sixx Am?
  • You: I have a few songs...
  • You: Cohhed and cambria?
  • Stranger: Life is beaufiful :)
  • You: True and doubly true.
  • You: How's life where you are?
  • Stranger: It's busy with schoolwork :/
  • Stranger: Interesting
  • Stranger: Love life is dead
  • Stranger: a couple true friendsa
  • Stranger: *friends
  • You: Eh, you've got your whole life to love. Live first, then Love.
  • You: You'll appreciate it.
  • Stranger: I mean I love people
  • Stranger: I love everyone
  • Stranger: But the people I am interested in romantically dont feel the same about me
  • You: I get the sentiment, trust me.
  • You: I was lucky though... one girl finally changed her mind.
  • Stranger: :D
  • You: Took YEARS.
  • Stranger: There is a guy who acts nice to me and acts interested....but only when I help him with his homework
  • Stranger: what a jerk, right?
  • You: Ah, a braindigger.
  • You: Yeah.
  • Stranger: hahaha
  • Stranger: I suppose it's better than a golddigger
  • You: True, your supply doesn't run out as quick.
  • Stranger: hahaha But I feel uncomfortable being in such a relationship so I try to keep it casual
  • You: Probably the best. Not gonna ask your age, but I'm guessing late high school, early college?
  • Stranger: third year college
  • You: Mid college then.
  • Stranger: yep
  • You: Yeah, don't stress it. Relationships can be thick, wonderful, and evolving.
  • You: True acedamia and love don't mix well.
  • Stranger: haha well it worked for Voltaire
  • You: Btu not everyone can live in carefully worded fame.
  • Stranger: indeed...it's fun to flirt though
  • Stranger: it makes it more fun
  • You: True that. And you can gauge a man's wit from his banter.
  • Stranger: yep...not muc hof that these days
  • Stranger: *much
  • You: Makes it easier to put a bookmark on a hopeful down the road. You know, once the pencil shavings settle.
  • Stranger: hahaha
  • You: Took all of High School and a bit of military for my witty bantress to come to me.
  • You: Good for the wait.
  • Stranger: I guess it willbe worth it :)
  • Stranger: When it finally happens
  • You: ...this has been a great random encounter, witty collegate.
  • You: But I must go.
  • Stranger: same!
  • Stranger: awwwe
  • Stranger: :)
  • Your conversational partner has disconnected.

The mind is a sea for man; it’s data are made of mental states.  Whoever overcomes its data…is called one who has crossed the sea of mind with its waves, its whirlpools, with its sharks, its demons - crossed over, gone beyond, the brahman stands on dry land.

The one steadfast, released from views is unsullied by the world, not blamed by self.

(Wow, I haven’t been on here in a while.  Been livin’ life, buying gifts for the season.  This is the one thing I agreed on with Christmas… the joy of giving.  Maybe I can go year round?)

By entering on the eightfold path, which has morality, concentration and wisdom as its three divisions, and which is holy, incorruptible and straight, one forsakes those faults which are the cause of suffering and one attains the state of absolute peace.

Conquest engenders; the conquered live in misery.  But who so is at peace and passionless, happily doth he live; conquest has he abandoned and defeat.

By day the sun shines, and by night shines the moon.  The warrior shines in his armour, and the Brahmin in his meditation.  But the Buddha shines by day and by night - in the brightness of his glory shines the man who is awake.
